Tiger Shovel Nose Catfish

Hey guys i just got a tiger shovel nose catfish, just wondering what i should know about him because i had him for about one hour now and he ate about 7 guppies

those sites should have some info for you i would try to stay away from feeders as they are not good for your fish try some sinking pelets or frozen food

i dont see a problem with it if you grow your own feeders.

The problem with feeder goldfish is that if that is all you feed it can lead to dietary deficiencies. Mollies make better feeders, mix the diet up with pellets, shrimp(even salad shrimp) and earthworms. Very few cats won't eat earthworms.

not only do they grow big but they also grow fast... mine went from 3in to 12in in about a little more than months time! they will eat anything they can fit in their mouth and sometimes fish that dont fit
