So I know all about these guys and their appetite and the if it fits in their mouth they will eat it. Well I had on growing out with some gold mahseers and yes you guessed it one came up missing and the cat had a big eat belly. Couldn't believe he could fit that mahseer in it's mouth. So moved it to the big tank during a water change. Currently it's about 7 to 8 inches, smallest fish in the tank now.

I hope you don't let your pbass go hungry, the TSN looks small versus the big one.

What is the big fish in the back?

My tiger shovel nose hybrid is insane on what he will try to eat, even if it doesn't fit!
He has eaten air stones, rocks, parts of the tank, and tries to kill everything kept with him. Mine is 19 inches. Has to live in a 125 gallon in basically solitary confinement. He does have 2 extremely aggressive feather fin cats that have been in the tiger's mouth... but those stinging barbs keep the tiger from swallowing them. There is also 2 plecos and they seem to be fine.
It has been my experience that the tiger is just that. An eating machine with no off switch.
