Hey. There is as TSN at the store I work at, which I would like to purchase. In all honesty, we have no room for the cat at the store, as he is about 2 feet long. I am building a 500 gallon + tank for him, but it is going to take some time to construct. I really don’t want to leave him at the store any longer than I have to; he is obviously having some problems with fungus, and some other issues. I have a 90 gallon at home which is 6 foot long by 3 (closer to four) feet wide. Could this house him for a couple of months until his new home is ready?? I really want to give this spectacular fish a great new home. The tank he in at the store is barley large enough for him to turn around in, and he is freaking out.
I also have my doubts that he is being treated for his illnesses, except for when I am there. . . And I doubt he will be bought unless it is by me!!
Anyways, what are your opinions??? I would like to find the best solution for this great animal.
And i am getting him for 50 bucks....is this a good price??

also, if anyone has any specks on long-tailed stingrays, I have tried to foind info on them, because we are getting one in and it is my job to make sure its healthy (which do not mind at all!!)

thanks

my suggestion would be to cook and eat him. I know of at least one other guy who has eaten his large TSN before (it jumped out and died at 3 feet in length). The guy said it was absolutely delicious.

Then, buy a baby TSN and grow it up from scratch. Makes for a much more satisfying experience.

Howdy,

a tank with 90 gal and a 6'x3' footprint has a water level of 8''. That's pretty shallow ...

oops...was thinking about two diffrent tanks.
got too many
this is a 134 gallon (the 6x3 one)
sorry, i was posting before running off to a philosophy class...

He should be fine in that tank for awhile

yeah you could keep em in that tank

ya, a 134 gallon tank would be plenty of room for a 2 foot catfish. And 50 bucks is an awesome deal if you want a big fish. But my opion is that it is much funner to raise one from a baby.
