Tiger shovelnose

I have a new tiger-shovelnose about 7 inches now who refuses to eat anything but live feeders. Any advice on what other foods may work? I've tried frozen shrimp and b-worms, massevore, freezedried blood worms.

it'll eat anything, but try feeding it when the lights are off.

the only thing mine will eat besides live is fish fillets, and shrimp. give that a try...

what kind of filets do you use?

i've fed mine shrimp, beefheart and tilapia fillet never had luck with pellets. starve the fish for a few days it'll eat.

Been having the same problems. Got him to eat worms and he is now starting to check out the shrimp, just takes some time.

it will eat. he might still just be getting used to his new tank.

i had that same exact problem. besides, live food, it loves frozen krill. my only other option is to feed them in the dark like, haynchinook334, said. that always worked for me(if you want to see them eat in the dark, get your flash light out. its not crazy. unless your not obsessed enough!)
