it's more a question of size than aggression. Not the most flexable of catfish at the best of times they require very large and very wide tanks to swim comfortably. As long as the other tankmates are about the same size you don't have worry about them becomming lunch quite as much as you would with an RTC.

I seem to be having trouble with this one set of pictures for some reason...sorry about that I'll take some new ones as soon as I get the chance.

Save your pics as jpeg when you go to edit. That way they will show up instead of a download link. I'd say the same about tsn. Most tend to be a little skittish also. Yet another reason to give them as big a tank as possible.

They'll eat whatever can fit in their mouths.

lol mines just a lazy bum, hardly moves.

yeh they r not really fierce if u ask me. it really depends on the tank mates and the size of them. i always kept my two TSN with arowanas or RTC that are bigger than them so they only fight with one another. not anyone else. plus they seem to be afraid of their own shadows. just like my clown knifefish. hence u dont really have to worry. they dont swim around much unless they are hungry then they would levitate around the surface of the tank to wait for food. weirdly enough my TSN became extremely active when i put them in a 18 foot pond so the more space the better. they JUMP so cover the top firmly. plus make sure u dont scare them with loud noises or sudden movements as most deaths for this fish are scare related when they bash themselves against the walls. good luck hope ures grow faster than mine!

Have heard reports that the asian red tail can be really nasty as they grow. Like they kill everything. That could be a problem, and flowerhorns if not already large may become meals in the future.
