Yeah, some fish are just like that. But in my life I've gotten Largemouth Bass and Peacock Bass to eat floating pellets, so anything possible! LOL! I'm hoping I can get him to eat sinking shrimp pellets.Bgonz;1085251;1085251 said:Mine would die before he eats pellets. Its just not happening. I'm thankful I got him on shrimp and smeltsand that was no easy task.

Thanks for the info, that's good to know that they will eat pellets. So far mine hasn't, but I want to get him a little bigger than his current 5 inches before I try the starvation treatment. Right now all he will eat is minnows. Hey, what temp do they like???Blub Blub;1086326;1086326 said:I feed my TSN pieces of Talipia fillets, and Hikari Massivore Delite sinking pellets. He attacks the pellets as if they were alive, even more so than the fish. He will eat the pellets even when his gut is full of fish. I have yet to find any kind of sinking pellet he wouldn't eat, but I haven't seen him eat anything that wasn't on the bottom. I've never tried live food though.
I guess all fish are different, but I bet your TSN would eat Hikari Massivore Delite, or Sinking Carnivore pellets.
