I am looking for some mid level swimming fish for my 600 gallon ray tank. I bought 3 Red hook silver dollars however looking to get some more to fill the space. I have come across some Tiger striped Silver dollars for sale. I don't know anything about Silver dollars so initially turned them down (due to cost) however I am now reading they are pretty rare and worth it.

Wondering if anyone has had these fish with rays and if there is any drawbacks. Also can I keep them with my red hooks?

not sure if tigers can really be considered rare any more but I really like them. I am thinking about getting rid of all my sds but the tigers

Rare Fish, a vendor here, has a ton of rare and unusual silver dollars. Awesome guy to work with, so if you're in the market for interesting silver dollars, check him out.

+1 I think fugupuff may still have some of those stunning green myelus species available. Those would look better in your tank if you can pay for them.

They're nice I have some I like the color and activity nice fish overall they're not going to get huge on you like red hooks they usually top out at 6-7 inches I believe. Here's a pic of a few of mine. I really like them ImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1426255783.576566.jpgImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1426255842.082235.jpg
