this guy is the biggest guy in the grou.

I wouldn't recomend keeping multiple datnoids.

First of all, probably only the dominant fish will display good color and outgoing personality.

Second, it obviously stress out the sub-dominant ones.

I believe all dats have the potential of being "stable" and outgoing... you just have to make sure they're the dominant fish, and the only datnoid in the tank. This is not to say it's the only way to have good looking datnoids, but it's a my general observation and experience.

i have seen all those tanks with only dats
and thats the reason i got this 120g and these dats to go in the tank, the fronts are temporary.
there are 6 dats and 1 rita rita catfish for this tank, till the cat grows too big

i got this whole tank for dats, isn't there any way to do this, i keep seeing people having large dat tanks

nice silver dats i kinda agree with above....out of my dats the domminant one is the only one 100% stable

I beg to differ. not wishing to hijack the thread but if you look at any of my pics you'll see many tigers living in harmony perfectly stable. yes there may be a dominant tiger but not necessarily at the expense of upsetting others. once tigers get above 8" with plenty of weight on them i've never kept one that isn't stable 100% of the time.

Nice little silvers! Not a commonly seen dat.
