Tiger vs. red oscar?

I was just wondering do tiger oscars just generally grow larger than red oscars or does it just appear to be that way?

color variant shouldn't have an effect on how large they grow, but some individual fish will grow larger than others even in same conditions depending on their genes

no there isn't a difference in size. my red oscar is right around that 14" mark
