tigers and aros?

Not speaking from experience as I have/had them separate times, aro b4 and IT now. I've seen many tanks with aros and dats. I believe Koji has them together in one of his many tanks. You can view them in the aro media section.
it all depends
if the aro has been mixed with other fish all its life then yes it may work
but thing can change fast
most of the big ST you see for sale are for sale for a reason mainly because they are fighting with a aro or why do you think they are for sale as not many people want to give up a stunning looking ST for no reason
they can get on fine for months even years then one day the tiger will just turn on the aro
many of the ST i have kept and sold in the past were sold for this reason
a angry 14inch tiger snapping at a large aro is something to be scared of as the tiger can do a lot of damage with one snap
my 20inch + ST fights with my aro from time to time but they are well matched some days the aros boss of the tank other days the tigers the boss no real damage just a split fin on the aro which heals up fast but never a mark on the ST
my aro and tiger have both been kept with different aros and other tigers from a small size
but you never no when you may need to step in if it gets to bad
and dont bother trying to mix a jar with tigers or you are asking for trouble
