how much do you guys would say these tigers will cost in socal?

5" stable NTT?

5" stable IT?

5" stable NGT?

5" stable ST?

just want to know their market values so i wont get ripped off!
this is really important for me guys as i am going to sell most of my arows
for these. i know ST's are the most expensive.

thanks guys! i really appreciate all the help im getting from all of you!

The following prices are for private sales from the buy/sell forum. LFS prices are likely to be much higher.

5" stable NTT? $50 - $60

5" stable IT? $50 - $60

5" stable NGT? $100+

5" stable ST? Priceless

You determine the price because you will only pay how much you think it is worth. The sellers has a listing price but that is not always the price the fish will sell for.

Blacktip has a good gauge on the current market prices of datnoids. Although forget the ST though. You have to shell out some serious benjamins for that.

good info! thanks everyone! atleast now i know i wont get ripped off!

so if you saw a real nice stable IT for $20 more than the prices quoted would you walk away or buy anyway

any fish is only worth what someone is willing to to

if the prices quoted were $300 for a 5 inch IT would you still pay it because you was told thats a fair price

asking for prices for stable tigers is also mad and by giving prices for stable tigers is also crazy or does that mean a unstable tiger is worthless

a tiger thats unstable in the shop may turn stable as soon as its put in the bag to bring it home if this happens should the shop keeper kick up his price if it turns stable in the bag

I agree 100% with you. I was merely providing a list of the recent sale prices I had seen as an educated starting point.

With all fish, the value is truly in the wallet of the beholder. If you like the fish, and are willing to pay the price that is being asked, then you should buy it.

I bought a couple unstable IT's for $20 each at a petshop because the owner thought it was sick or dying. As soon as I put them in my tank, they became stable right away.

Stableness don't really matter. As long as the fish is eating, then it's healthy. You just need to have some patience..

^ truth!

In my mind, stability of a tiger should NOT affect price.

Private or LFS sale; if either raised the price of a particular Tiger that was displaying good stability, I would refuse and ask for the same price as for all the others.

"How stable a tiger is"...........is all part and parcel of keeping and caring for this stunning fish
