Well today is the day, bought my tigers a few weeks ago and i have been the devil, while i was waiting for a bigger tank they were in a small like 29 gallon tank, but now i have my bigger tank set up and ready to go, moving them later today , very excited that they will finnaly get to stretch out and enjoy the water like a good fish should!!!!!

two, going into a 55 for now, got plenty of filtration. will be fine, once me and a buddy have our own place they will be put into a bigger tank. they are right around 3-4 inches now,

They do grow pretty fast, but should be fine. What size tank are you planning for them? Also what is your filtration? Mines a pretty messy eater.

Not exactly sure what size of tank we will get right now, but i have a emperor 400 on it right now and i will either get another emperor 400 or go with a canister filter, will decide when it is time....

If you plan to keep 2 you're going to need a good amount of space. I try and set up filtration to turn over my tanks at least 10 times an hour. So for instance my 110 gallon I have 1100 gph.

Well with this one emperor 400 i am turning 400 gph, so with this One filter i am turning over right around 7-8 times an hour, so if i add Another filter that doubles it, 55 is enough for oscars, especially as small as they are right now.

And like i said, they will be moved to a bigger tank when it is time, this is just for now until we get bigger tank, two is a little much but it will work unless they are still in there fully grown, but if they are still in their when they are fully grown then there is a problem with me and i should not have fish.
