well hello and i am here as usual to ask some questions i want a tiger shovel and a RTC but i have got 2 and both have seemingly gotten ill ?????? both from differ stores the aquarium here in town gives a 7 day money back deal so i mean im good on my money but i really want to keep these 2 fish lol im rebuilding my backyard for a habitat for them but i cant seem to get one to live past 2inches i need help and i dont know what to do by the way the water checked out and the pet shop says thats not it so im totaly lost in the dark

im assuming the fish are real small still in the 20 gallon? if ur water quality is good my guess would be either tank size or what ur feeding them. ime those cats are real hardy and survive through some nasty situations. once, i had an rtc who threw up eveything in its stomach while i was gone and destoyed the water quality. he lived in the water for a good amount of time and after a quick water change, he acted like nothing happened haha. this makes me think maybe a 20 gallon is not good for the two even if they are real small. also, if ur using feeders, it could be some have diseases or something like that.

yea they were not in the tank together lol and it was just to grow a few inches to get into my 180 so they are off the menu i took him back and they said the tiger was deformed so i dont feel to bad. i think since they are pretty rare in my area they might just be weak and sickly but im going to try again as soon as they get another in
