just a heads up for the uk people ! my local maidenhead aquatics has got 6 true tigrinus catfish catfish in at 4 - 5 inches for only £300 each ! needless to say ive bought one myself but thought this is a wicked opertunity for anyone living on the south coast ! the shop is on the a259 near worthing and their numbers online on the website i snapped a few pics of them for all to enjoy ! if anyone needs anymore details pm me ! also if anyone does pop in to see them let them know where you heard the news and i may get a little discount when i next visit enjoy !!!

Very nice buddy but £300 for a 4 to 5" thats alot,you should have looked on aquarist classified,you could have got one for half the price!!!
I paid £100 less for my 15",andi did think it a bit risky getting a small one,thats why i went for a big one,even though ive not seen it grow from small,i can still watch it grow huuuge,hopefully.

these fish have always been the holy grail of cats to me and im stoked to finally have one ! your avatar is incredible i really hope mine can get to that size, out of interest what have you been feeding yours to get it in great condition ? am trying to get this guy onto bloodworm and chopped muscle for now but trying to get some ideas for when he gets some size !

Same here buddy,but i did a lot of shopping about and kept looking on aquarist classifeds and had a choice of size to get and this one suited my tanks and i knocked the guy down from 275 to 200 and he even gave me a free mystery cat,i wish id discoved AC years ago,lol

as for feeding.I only got him a week ago and hes eating frozen mussel in the blister packs,also frozen prawn and massivore,but i would pm t1karmann about feeding as hes pretty clued up on this for tigs,also did you see my thread in catfish called hallelujah finally,this is when i got him.
