TIGRINUS and driftwood

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Good question,I think the waters that they come from are not clear due to the turbulent raging but thats different from tanins being present. What else do you have with your tig?

yeah, that's what I figured, I just thought that maybe wit the constant movement of their waters, tannins would get flushed out and therefore not be something a tig would be adapted to. I'm not worried though.
I have a tank with an aro, a few big dats, a fei feng and some blood parrots, I'm adding a new monster 16" tig this week :)

Godammit all you guys keep getting tigs,16":cry::cry:

How much,dare i ask?

haha 550 ;) my last big fish purchase! then im satisfied with my collection ;) picking up either tomorrow or the next day. I'll be posting many pics..

The waters where tigs come from are that color due to the tannins in the water. Why do you think the ph is so low in south america? Because there is a LOT of tannins in the water. Adding driftwood will not harm your tig unless it takes up most of the tank's space, or unless your water's pH levels are already extremely low (below 6.0)

Thats a fair price for how big it is i suppose,i think when i get mine,my collection will be complete for now.

good luck and the minute you get it we want pics:D:D:D:popcorn::popcorn:
