What is the going price for a Tigrinus Cat these days. I am cycling a 210, and I am thinking of putting one in. Also where is a good online source to get one?

It depends on what size your looking for. The bigger the size the bigger the price tag. I bought my 10" tigrinus for $200.00. This is a fair price for that size. I have seen small 3"ers go for $75.00 to $100.00 and 15-17"ers for $400.00. The lfs that had my tigrinus was asking $275.00, but I knew they had him for awile so I lowballed them and they took it. What size are you looking for? Check the buy and sell and the sponsered shops on the website, they come up often for sale. Good luck.

Now that is cheap, never heard of a tig for a price like that. You have a picture of them? Might they be tiger shovelnose and not tigrinus?

I pay more than $22/ea for them OUT OF THE RIVER.

I pay more than $22 for the 'banned fish' license to export them as well..

I doubt it was a true Tigrinus, or the person selling them was a fool. They aren't captive bred, and the shipping alone to Sweden is more than $22. Likely a Juruense or Tiger Shovelnose.
