Tigrinus Feeding Help

got a beautiful 7 inch tig. his prev diet was smelt,worm sometimes shrimp. i have him in with 3 cichla and a motoro pup. i have had hime about 4 days and havnet seen him eat yet. he was plump when i got him lol, tried feeding during day and putting food in at night problem is the motoro ray eats most of the food during the day and i can tell at night.
any tips?
 
i wouldn't be concerned at the moment... with the 3 i have it took all of them between 1 to 3 weeks to eat... they can go a long time without eating... the only concern i would have is that they are not good hunters and stingrays are aggresive eaters so leftovers could be few and far between... but most people only feed their tigs everyother day or so... so once he starts eating a little each day will be fine... ooo and don't feed shrimp til they are at least 12 inch... seafood is not good for them... check the threads on tigs.. some people lose them cuz they don't digest seafood well until 12 inches.. most will throw it back up after a week or more of not eating... just give him time and i'm sure he will start... any pics?

Is up to what you have avaible to you just no seafood til there 12 inch.. I feed. Mine everyother day tilapia, night crawlers, and massivore pellets... I do have one that is on shrimp but he is 13 inch and I just started get it him at very little amounts to see how he does... since you have rays you will be feeding everyday if you feed once a day do it at night and if ya are feeding twice or more just put in a little extra at night so he has a chance to find it with the lights off... and when feeding try to make sure you get some right by him so you know he is seeing it... when I put food in for mine at first the first piece would sit in front of him foform mins before he would take... now they just jump on it... goodluck hope this helps
