Tigrinus help

My tigs wisker seems a little damaged towards the end. I think it went in my korilla pump. Seems broken. Will it heal back up and look normal or will it stay short and not grow back ? He's about 18"

my tig's broken whisker healed up and looks like nothing ever happened. broke last summer. it was just dangling and i think the end eventually broke off. its fine now.

As far as I know, the whiskers on all catfish will grow back if the damage isn't into the growth bud.

In cats, barbels, fins, and skin are constantly damaged (in the wild) and grow back and heal fine, unless the damage is too extensive and/or an infection sets in. Sometimes, barbels can grow back forked = Y shaped.
