I know the ingredients are almost identical between Hikari Massivore Delight and Hikari Sinking Carnivore but my 9" Tigrinus grew up eating sinking carnivore. I've been trying to feed it Massivore (broken into small pieces) for the past month but it just spits it out but gobbles up the carnivore. The two smell different also. I just thought I'd share this info.

FYI - Any fish that trys food and spits it out can probably be broken into that specific food just some time and starvation!

just keep trying

yeh shud be no problem at all. at least he associates it with food! my fish cant get enuf of massivores. i swear they put addictive chemicals in them!

so far not the case for my asian aros ... one even chews the pellets first then spits out the lot. another one takes into mouth and then immediately spits them out - spoilt brats

At what size did your tigs start taking these sinking pellets?
they can prety much takin the carnivore pellets really young since they r tiny. but shud probably wait till they reach at least 8-10 inches before feeding massivores so they can properly digest it!
