Do tigrinus catfish shed their slime coat like lima shovelnose cats do?
I saw something floating around in my tank, and by what it looks like it's the only thing I can figure. Also the catfish seems to be a little "shinier", like his stripes are more bold, and there's more contrast between the black and white. Can't post a pic as the filter already sucked it up. He's healthy, eating, and the water parameters are solid.
