Tigrinus species names?

What are the exact scientific names for the types of tiger shovelnoses/tigrinus that many MFKs have? I'm talking about the ones that have well defined patterns and only reach about 2 feet long. NOT the 5 foot super monsters that seem to be more common and cheaper. I need to be able to give my lfs some specifics so they can (possibly) get the right one.

the genus name was recently changed, according to planet catfish, the new name is now officially, Brachyplatystoma tigrinum.

its easy to get the right one without the name

if the fish cost $20-40 its the one that grows to 4ft+
if the fish cost $400-800 then thats the one you are looking for
