Need some help with getting my newly bought tigrinus to eat.
I've tried almost everything, artemia, shrimp, beefheart, salmon, mosquitolarva.. any tips or tricks?

How big is he and how long have you had him. I would give him a day or two to settle then try blackworms. They are usually a sure thing. GL

I agree give blackworms it should definately hit them. Bulk it up with them for a while, then introduce different foods

where did you get it ? what was they feeding it? I ussually have good luck with "red wigglers" they are a small worm that wiggles alot and I find fish will "impulsive" strike it and btw they are a great bait if you like to fish.

I got it from my importer in Gothenburg. It's on bloodworms now btw :) but he isn't very clever when it comes to eating.

Patience young skywalker.

These cats can take weeks before they start feeding so dont panic.

Keep him as stress free as possable & check that your water parameters are spot on.
If everything water chemistry wise is ok he/she will begin to feed in a few weeks.
Bloodworm is a good start but unfortunately it made up mainly of water so has a very low nutrional content.
Small live worms, river shrimp etc are great to get it feeding.
Good luck
