Tigrinus update

Bought 3 of these back in july at 3-4 in. I have been really impressed with the growth so far with them with one being the largest of the group at a solid 8 inches. The largest eats only live and the other 2 eat frozen and pellets.

Interesting info on growth and feed preferences.

Here is my little bit:

I've bought five ~2.5"-ers from Manny C. about 3 months ago. All took to marine baitfish, only three took to pellets. The three are about 6"-8". The other two that ignore pellets are 4" and 5". They are clearly lagging behind.

Had to separate the two groups a month and a half ago because the bigger were bullying the smaller too much.

Hmm..I don't understand how my larger tig is out growing the others eating pellets/frozen.I thought it would have been the other way around . Just weird. I have all mine separate and they have been since day one.

I offer pellets 2x-3x more often than fish. Fish is offered only 2x-4x a week. Pellets - twice every day. That explains what I have been observing.
