What tank size do these fish require and how big will they get? What fish can they live with?

they are a great fish

for me they are king of the cats

in a tank i would say 30inch is about max size

you should be ok with a 72 x 30 x 30 tank

they grow fairly fast up to 18inch then slow down

i had one for 2yrs and it sort of maxed out at 22inch

if you buy one try to get one at 12inch+ they are alot stronger at that size

i have one at 14inch now and its doing very well

They're Monsters!!

Can't keep them with anything much smaller than themselves, won't be too big of an issue for the first (6) months lol. I've seen them eat things close to their size.

You'll get different opinions on tank size, I think you'd want at least 300gal!

mine is 18inch and with a 4inch dat cambelli and a 7inch thin bar no problems just keep it well fed

hes in a 350g tank
