What you think about this tigrinus speciman?... thinking about possibly getting? (hopefully not too late?!!) :uhoh: Tig now about 12" in size.

Thoughts or comments on how you think the pattern will be/turn out? All given feedback is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!! :)

Wow. thats amazing! I say that it would definately be a welcomed sight in your collection! If you have the room (and you do) I'd say to go for it! I'm jelous now... j/k

nice tig, a bit on the skinny side, but i'm sure u can pump up in no time

nice blue tinge already

if u like the 45 degree pattern then grab it

can't see streamers tho

is it around $225-$250 USD??

good luck

this specimen has e potential to have its stripes slanted as it gorws bigger n it will ge a sight!!! :22_yikes: if e price is rite definately worth to buy cos most of e tigrinus have their stripes in symmetrical fashion...

Ahlex, this is exactly what I was thinking and wanted to hear! Thank you for your opinion.

Nice tig, Jack! Buy it! Given that the price of tigs is fairly high right now, with 6" specimens running over $200 wholesale, I'd say that tig is worth quite a bit more, especially in light of its diagonal stripes and larger size.

Definatlely alot of feeding required...hope the line markings can become more distinct later...

anyway, if the price is right, why not?
This tig was actually just picked up this past weekend by a friend of mine... pics were taken right after acclimation & being released into the tank... so it does look a little on the thin side in these early pics. But as of now, this 12" tig is eating really healthy, adapting really well. Also not as shy, like other tigs usually are... (especially being a 'recent buy')... actually swims around quite abit! :)

Jesse, what would you consider a fair price be for this tigrinus here? Hi & low end? Tanks!

Jack, considering that a 6-7" tigrinus wholesales for around $225 and retails for around $300 (Hung Ming in S.F.), I'd say around $350-400 wholesale and around $500 retail would be appropriate.
