Tig's with smaller cats?

Has anyone ever kept Tig's with smaller cats? I've got three tigs, all 10-12", that I'm putting (temporarily) in with about a dozen Syno. petricola. I'm hoping that the Syno's are 'armoured' enough with their spines that if the Tigs attempt to eat them they'll learn quickly, but though I'd see if anyone has any personal experience with combining them.

I've got a 3" sun cat and about 4 spotted cats (3") in with my 10" tig with no problems... Just make sure the tig has food and isn't so hungary that is feel it has no choice but to eat his tank mates.

Got synos in with my 25" perruno and Lince cat; no problem.

A fully grown Petricola could easily fit into the mouth of a Tig of 12 inches,why take the risk,you must be a wealthy man to even consider it!!!
