Who feeds their fish frozen tilapia and shrimp? I was looking at the ingredients and carbon monoxide was in it. Just wondering if it would be safe.

I do and by far this food is the most favoured food of my fish. Not too sure why carbon monoxide be an ingredient in seafood. I am guessing this might be used in freeze packaging.
must be to displace oxygen, and why not we eat carrots soaked in bleach to keep there color nice and bright....lol

Yes those little bags of carrots that are bit sized and really bright orange are bleached. It was on the news here.
I used to buy a lot of fresh Tilapia and smelts at the Asian market. Make sure if buying smelts they are not in oil.
