tilapia marie sexing...

hey everyone, i ended up catching one while in FL, luckly, i drove down from nj had a bucket and air pump handy, and brought it back up!
what are the differences between the sexes to look for?

I think Japes was hinting this might give you better results in that folder, as the Tilapia are native to africa. Nice colors though, don't know enough about africans to sex though.

i'm reading a post from the link japes posted (sorry i didn't know that was a link japes, lol, i was like whats that!) and noticed that someone that has one said that the female had red on her belly... so im wondering if this is female...
anyone...

the fish is a african not a CA/SA cichlid which is why hes telling you to go to the african forum. They're not supposed to be native to Florida but thanks to a few idiots they are now.

great looking fish though.
