I have tiled the bottom of one of my tanks but now am struggling to find a safe grout to use. I was given some grout by a friend and emailed the company to see if it was safe to use in the tank and if not, what did they recommend.
I had a quick response from them but I can't find any shops local to me that sells it!
Anyone know of other grouts that I could use? I maybe able to find some local to me in the UK!

I would assume that Laticrete epoxy grout would be safe after the 30 day curing process and I would definately rinse and re rinse the surface to remove any residue that may have accumulated.

use grout that never needs to be sealed. its a 2 part epoxy, but isnt cheap.

Definitely go with the epoxy grout. I work for a major ceramic tile contractor managing projects.

Any particular reason that you put tile in the tank? Just curious.

I keep getting asked this question! Its something different that I wanted to try and the fish thats going into the tank hates a reflection and will attack it if it see's one. I thought by tiling the tank I would have something clean, non-reflective and different!

Sounds logical enough. But what about the sides?
