Ive seen many ray owner and breeders with tile or granite floor, i have a small slab of tile thats black and white and would like to offer it as a breeding slate for my hybrids. The nice is much better looking than a simple piece of slate rock but is tile safe for the aquarium?

sorry for the typos, i cant edit post. im thinking its granite but im not sure, safe or not safe for my cichlids?

most natural stones are aquarium safe. I have seen granite in aquariums. I use slate for mine. If it has been grouted, mortared, or has the adhesive mesh backing on it before, that stuff is toxic.
