Hey guys so i need a little help deciding. I want to change my substrate (currently have Black Tahiti Moon Sand) but i have some questions on what i should change it too. The reason why i want to change it is because above my rays i have a gold xb arowana that i want to WTT. That and i think that BDs on white sand or tile would look amazing 
But on to my questions. I'm considering a small gravel/heavy sand or tile. I really like the tile and its easy to keep clean and change out but are my rays going to be affected by the change to tile? like right now they are pretty happy in the sand but its just a heap in the middle so... I'd really like your thoughts on this as well as any pics you might have of either. Remember i'm going for white or really light tan so keep that in mind
