tiled bottom 220

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i personally like the more natural looks like slate or stone look but it depends on what your going for i would suggest using 100% silicone to seal around the edges and between the tiles makes it easier to clean and keeps food and waste etc from getting trapped between tiles

well im a Flooring Specialist at lowes, so i have plenty to choose from, lol. im thinkin black.

Im sorry. lol.

I was a "flooring specialist" at home depot a couple years ago, it was one of the worst jobs I ever had, mostly due to the horrible customers and the horrible hours they made me work.

It would also make them very difficult to remove if needed..... My 240 is tiled, cut them to fit very tight. There may be some build-up under them, but Id rather deal with that.

its not that bad im not saying completely gunk the silicone in there just a small bead helps imo and if you like the look then how often do you need to take them out kind of like gravel or sand you usually leave it there for awhile

i believe me i know. lol.

as far as slate, you guys dont think that will put off weird things in the water? they are natural slate.

usually not most of the time what is used as slate does not effect the water the only thing to really be worried about is whether it causes ph fluctuation or not if your worried about it you can take a bucket with water that is aged and the ph is stable then add a tile over night and see if the ph changes much if not it should be fine
