I want to make an indoor pond 17 foot long 6 foot 6" wide and the 44 inches deep was going to build it using 10 inch thick walls made up of 4x2 laid on edge either side with 6 inch uprights every 18 inches made as a ladder section if that makes sense with it braced every 18 inches from top to bottom with ply.
6 inch screws holding each 4x2 in place walls screwed to base made up of 2x2 12 inch centres with ply on top insulated to stop bottom spreading does this sound OK was worried about it bowing in the middle there s is the Max size I can fit in my fish house if I have to I can put an ornamental bridge in to act as a centre brace .
Cheers in advance for any help
