i am thinking of redoing my 125 and getting rid of the uaru... i have had them for a year and a half and i am just ready for something else.

i was thinking of doing a pair of Vieja synspilum or argentea. with 5 sajica and 3 cutteri as the "suporting staff"

do you think the cuts and sajica would be ok in a 125 with a Vieja pair ?????

thoughts....

i don't think so i've heard breeding vieja are pretty aggressive but i'm far from an expert on these fish

Never had any viejas, but they do grow pritty big. search nutty for his tanks he has cutteri and rainbows with his vieja community, his tank looks stunning.
ever thought of a small community 8" and below tank, like your ellioti, sajicas, HRP and a couple more species?

yeah i have considered that but i think i will get bored with them if i don't have at least 1 big guy as the "center peice fish"

A green terror would fit the job, but would take along time to get a decent size, maybe a oscar?

looks like a plan./
argentea can be real but kickers as a pair.
and its even harder to find a pair.
good luck

what about a pair of cubans instead their stunning and get 8"-10" and prety hefty !
