2 jars in the same tank war for sure try adding some strong water flow i works with other aro coms

Tonymofo, you'll end up with one only, when jars are considered..as stated, put in a divider, sell some of them of ( surely you have one or two more dominant, bigger ones, that you would want to keep )...no point in having seven tanks for seven jars, IMO ( if it were asians, we could converse otherwise .....)

I don't think, Richard, it'll work in the long run with aussies.....we cannot compare asians and their sweet character ( in arowana terms of course ) with those girls from down under....

very true i know jars are aggressive and their is not much chance of it working

but the keeper has gone all out and got 7 jars to try and buy the look of his tank their is not much fast water movement

anything is worth a go before people stat saying i told you it wouldnt work

I have seen many cases of a single Jar housed with other fish here in Australia succesfully but I have never seen success with two or more Jars housed together. When it comes to conspecifics, they are definatly solitary.Even wild caught specimens often show signs of fresh battle scars. If you have plans on trying to keep a Jar with any other fish species,I would get rid of the dominant ones first IMO and keep the least aggresive.
If you are happy with a single specimen tank, choose the largest most dominant one.
