Time to add the Aro with the Armatus

Alright guys. The 8 Footer will be set up and running by Fri. I have 2 - 6" Armatus I will be keeping in there. The plan is to house an Aro also. Silver Aro that is. I can get a blue or black also, but to be honest I think I will just go with the silver (unless someone can change my mind??) Anyway, I do not have any experience with either the Armatus or the Aro. The couple months or whatever I've had the Armatus does not rack up to any experience imo lol..... So, The same size Aro?? Bigger or smaller?? I don't know the growth rate as of yet for the Aro (of course I will be researching pretty hard core now). I prefer to introduce the Aro very soon after I move the Armatus in. I want them to be together from the beginning or as close to it as possible. Any pointers please fill me in now :)
Of course I will keep everyone updated.
 
GL man! in my opinion you should be fine i would add the aro atleast one day before the Armatus jmo! Throw some pic's up when you get it worked out? By the way if you need to sell a Armatus pm me i can allways use more! lol I dont two will work it will take two special Armatus. gl man Jeff
 
Thx BigJ. I was kind of thinking it might be a good idea to put the aro in first. I am nervous abotu the 2 Armatus together. I had 2 in the 20L for awhile and they seemed to get along just fine. I sold one of them. The 2 I have left have been seperated though. I am not sure how they will get along. I am just assuming since the have 8 Ft. to play in at only 6" the shoudl be ok for a little while. It wiull only be those 2 and the aro. Shoudl the aro be a little bigger than the Armatus? Or do you think the same size will be ok?
 
Get a black aro if you can find one. From what I heard, black doesn't have drop eye as often as silver. Besides, black looks more fancy when swim due to the body is slimmer than silver, and the contrast on the finnage. If you want to add an aro or a few with your Armatus, make sure the height of the aro's body is at least the same height of the Armatus body. Don't use the length of the body for comparing. The aro should be bigger than the Armatus.
