So a couple of weeks ago I decided to tear down the "baby" tank because there was only 1 decent sized Senegalus in it. The albino died from whatever those black things were. I had neglected the tank bad enough that it was time to get rid of it. So I put the Sene in the tank with my other guys. Of course I come home that night and Queen B had him half way down her throat.... Fast forward a couple of weeks. The bloat was still there. And Queen B looked like she had to fart again. This time the bloat won. I got home from work last Wednesday and she was dead. I'm mad but think something was seriously wrong with her. No matter what I fed she bloated. And the bigger the meal the longer it took to go away. Just means I get a new Ornate. Fish store here I come.

Sorry to hear about the losses. RIP polys.... Just know you're not alone to the big belly/bloat. I'm sure it occurs often. So, I wouldn't feel too bad. I had a pretty delhezi and senegal with my bigger lower jaws in the same tank. It's a hard balance portion wise. Believe the best diet for these 'personalities' are too feed small pellets moderately.

Moving forward. Getting another ornate would be neat. Keep us posted.

That's pretty much what I did was fed pellets and it was at one point like once every other week because no matter what I did she bloated. None of my others do this. My fun is getting put on hold for now as I need to save up as much as possible before August.
