I just recieved my 4th infertile clutch from varanus mertensi  It took the flavis the same amount of time to get it right, but this is just turning my hair grey. Im very frustrated! lol ok im done

Dont give up. It will be worth it once you get some good eggs.

Hey Varanio, no quits! First of I consider you one of the most experienced keepers here, when I grow up I want to be like you, I beleave in you and so should you! In my experience the best things in life can both take some time and as well the most you want something and figth for it it the worse it goes. Chill, breeding is a natural process, maybe there is something you forgothen or you need to see it in a diferent angle. As for your grey hairs, well, maybe you need to diminish a bit your entusiasm :)

keep ut the good work, Amigo! Your herp ways and your stock is simply amazing.

One day you won't know what to do with so many baby Monitors

Frustration and anger leads to the dark side. Don't give in!

I learned from an old science professor that every unsuccessful attempt to a goal is not a failure. You are just methodically developing a list of methods on how things do not work. Ruling out the negative variables makes you so much wiser. Keep up the good work.

Thanks everyone shes recovering well from the last batch of bad eggs 7 total, she ate four adult mice today so thats the important thing. Hopefully next time my male will finally realize what he has in front of him :)

Try to give them some fish as well, they eat that in the wild. Maybe some omega 3 fatty acids will do the trick. Breed your own mice and feed them widely on super foods like veggies insted or mice food before feeding. Make shure you have a good brand of uv lamps, etc, just giving random thoughs to the air :)

And you dont think I already do this?!!!! :irked::irked::irked: lol:):) all of this has been covered,I always give females mice during egg development and after egg deposit. Its the best way to ensure they quickly retain the necessary elements to jump start metabolism and good health once after laying.
