Looking to make a auto water changer but need a timed power strip of some sort that i can program multipal outlets to work in a sequence. I researched alittle bit and found the reptile ones but only has two outlets for day and two for night.

Looking to do something like..

1 Shut off main pump
2 turn on drain pump right after main pump is off for whatever time
3 then turn on fill pump after drain pump goes off
4 main pump back on

Want this to run on a daily cycle at the same time

Just thought of this tonight so if anyone can help that would be great
Thanks

I would look toward using float switches in lieu of ensuring that all of these pumps work right in order. But the ones you already spoke of would be your best option. Maybe a couple of them would do the job.

Why dont you have something like this:
1. Install an overflow drain on tank (or sump).
2. Leave on main pump all the time.
3. Turn on fill pump as needed and displace the old water out. Better yet, don't have a fill pump at all, just add water slowly from tap pressure through carbon to remove chlorine and chloramine.

Walmart has a 8 outlet digital timer with four outlets being individually timer capable. Its made by Woods and its $15 canadian.

But like others said there are better ways to do this, imagine if the drain pump fails one day.

My filteration in in the basement and i have plenty of room to do anything. I have a spare 75 gallon that would fill and run with a airstone for 24hrs with a heater then pump into my sump witch is 100 gallons after the drain pump turned off. Then the 75 would fill back up and warm up for the next cycle in 24 hrs. If something doesnt work right water on the floor is no biggy
