Got a pair of wild yellow kribensis from my LFS last saturday and they've been hiding behind a log since then and haven't eaten anything. I've tried flake and pellet, but they won't go for it. I'm gonna try microworms tonight (the only live food i have), then maybe frozen brineshrimp, and then freeze dried plankton but then i'm out of options. I need them to eat, they were pretty pale when I got them, but i thought i could get them to colorup. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get them less timid.

I got them for the sake of breeding them, which is why I would prefer not to add dither fish, but I have a pair of long-finned zebra danios I could pop in there if it'll help.

ALL suggestions much appreciated.

from experiance.. I would not try adding any danios but giants as dithers. i've found them to be very nippy.

frozen bloodworms are another option i didn't see you mention. but hopefully they will take the micro worms. Live blackworms shoudln't be to hard to get your hands on either, just make sure the usual precautions of cleaness are taken. and as funny as it sounds I've not met many fish to refuse Ocean Nutritions Prime Reef flakes ( both fresh and saltwater carnivores ime love this stuff)
