What kind of damage could a Timor Monitor inflict on you?

How Intelligent are they compared to other monitors?

Do they Tripod at all?

In your opinion, what is the largest prey item a Timor could manage?





you might be wondering why im asking these questions. Im not putting my lizard in harm's way im just curious.

Like all monitors, they have a fairly strong bite. They could make you bleed, that's for sure. Probably nothing serious though. Nobody really knows much about monitor intelligence, other than knowing that they are all quite smart. Which are the smartest though, is hard to know. Timors are very shy, so it's even harder to observe, considering you don't see them most of the time. They can tripod for food (If you can get them brave enough to feed from tongs, that is.) but they usually don't do it other than that. I would say a large Timor could handle an adult mouse.
