Hi' There ,

A couple of my tin foil barbs are looking a bit of a mess:

Note this is the same fish .

As you can see the eye and fin's are looking pretty bad.

Quick bit of background information:
These have been in my large tank for about 8 months no problem, on Monday night my tank sprung a leak so i had to re-seal it , unfortuantly this meant these spending a full night and day in a small 80litre box with a bunch of bichir's. unfortuantly i only had a small filter and a small heater for them. They're now back in the tank and i've noticed this. The big tank has no issue with water quality due to the daily water change's it gets (30% minimum) and it's a bit over the top filteration.
I'd imaging in the 80litre box the water would have been far from perfect ( i had work so couldnt water change) so presume it'll either be the poor conditions of the container they were in or the stress of them moving.

What's the best thing to do ? Leave it and the water change's should fix it or should i be medicating? If so what for ?
I also have a couple of rays in the tank so cannot use any copper in the med's .

Personally whenever I've had issues (my pictus used to get glazed over eyes/droopy whiskers if they got exposed to bad water conditions, mainly ammonia) Melafix has done wonders for me, and it's relatively natural as far as meds go. I'm sure someone here may have a better suggestion, but that's what's worked well for me.

Thanks for the quick response, may have to put in a smaller tank to medicate , would cost me a tonne on 1000litre's of water.
