Okay so I just recently moved my CK and P.Senegalus into a larger tank. The tank that I moved them into had been recently a victim of a really bad case of fin rot. To make a long story short I moved my Angels into a Q-tank and drained and thoroughly cleaned the infected tank. I then decided to move My CK and Senegal into this larger tank. I completely cycled the tank after cleaning it and finally tranfered them into it. Here is my problem. I found tiny tiny what looked like little white hairs on the side of the tank, and noticed that they were moving like an inch worm.. What are these things and if they are harmfull how do I get rid of them before they hurt my fish?

Oh and if it matters at all I keep about a 1 teasponn of salt ratio to every 5 gallons of water in all my tropical tanks. Also prior to draining and cleaning the infected tank, it was treated for 2 weeks with 1 heavy salt treatment once a week with 25% water changes every day in adition to the temp being turned up to about 85 degrees.

Please help!

Your problem is planaria. Planaria are harmless but they are an indication that you overfeed and/or have poor water conditions. Siphon them off, increase frequency of water changes and limit feeding rations.

Makes sense... I do have a tendency to overfeed my CK.... He's always hiding and that's the only thing he seems to come out for lol. :duh: Thank you very much! I'll refrain from wavering from my normal feeding schedule, lol.
