tinfoil barb problem

Hi guys. I have a 100gallon aquarium with 3 tinfoils and 4 bala sharks. Water is perfect 0 amm 0 nitrite and 15ppm nitrate. FX5 filtration and temp of 26 degrees.

One of the barbs constantly chases the silver sharks around - they are all similar size, the barb was the latest addition to the tank, it was smaller than the sharks one month ago, now it is the same size (3 inch).

Ideas what I can do> i have no other tanks.

as long as theres no missing/torn fins you should be good to go. i dont think all those fish will fit full size in the 100g though.

Yeh, i will upgrade at the time (no really). It's annoying they are chasing though

just let them do their thing.

as long as the subdominant fish are getting lots of food at feeding time, all is good.

as they grow, it will likely taper off. I have had this problem before with balas chasing each other, and it did not last when they reached adult size..

Check my sig, my bala's are the biggest in the tank, and every one chaces them, they are so passive. The rainbow and redtail only chace them during feeding time, my barbs seem to do it on a whim. Funny the bala's learned about the rainbow and redtail and only eat after them. I keep telling my barbs you better be nice them balas will be 3 times your size someday and they will remember you.

I can see it now ill have a 13" bala minding his business and the barb will decide to nip him one more time, then next thing i know I am searching for a missing barb.
