Will tinfoil barbs wreck water-liles?
The spec-pages say "herbivorous" without specifics.

So, in your copious experience:
i) Will ignore, preferring their fishy-kibble, algae & leaves/detritus,
ii) like koi are supposed to, but can be overfed in a larger space to mostly ignore, or
iii) properly smash-pow no-go like filament barbs, silverdollars/pacu, giant gourami & sliders?

This is for a ~6000gal @ ~30" deep outdoor pond in partial sunshine @24~31C depending on weather & season.

Thanks in advance,

My old group would eat just about anything I had in the pond. As for plants specifically, I definitely witnessed eating them, but they had some tilapia+giant gourami helping them so I’m not sure how much of a dent they were actually putting in the plants
