Tinfoil barbs fighting

ive got 4 tinfoil barbs in my 125 with an rtc. Occasionally i see two, and only these two, what seems to be fighting. They swim next to eachother rapidly dashing and rubbing their sides against eachother, occasionally itll look like their nipping at eachother two.

There arent any really bad marks and it seems to subside after a few minutes but they do do it alot. Are they trying to establish dominance? ive never seen this before and ive kept tinfoil barbs previously

I had some huge tinfoils and they always did this, nothing ever came of it and they were nothing worse for wear either,wouldnt worry,probally looks worse because there bigger than the avarage fish like tetra/guppy which also do similar stuff..

All barbs do this form of sparring. Completely normal and harmless.

Tin-foil barbs establish a hierarchy within the school. It's normal behavior, enjoy!

A few of mine used to do this but when i put more in i never see it now.

Normal behaviour, nothing to worry about it. I only keep 2 and they do it alot. They are really best pals though, never apart!
