tinted tank

has any one ever had a tinted tank I looked at a tank today this guy was selling and it was a tinted acrylic 180g I am thinking long and hard if I want to buy it or not. do any of you guys have a tented tank if so how do they look when filled and with lights on?

I saw someone on here alst year that bought a tank that was tinted, but I didnt hear anything more after that, I can tell you one thing though, it will reduce algea if you have it near a window. By the way I used to live in Claremont, I had some friends in Chino and Chino Hills.

I tinted tank seems pretty cool if it was the back and sides, maybe someone has a picture. I took the black off the back of my tank today though because it isn't cloudy anymore and the panelling makes a good background.

I tinted a couple of my tanks. I figured that it's better than a black background that I'll have to retape from time to time. I like it. I got "limo" tint from walmart. So the background is black. Even with the lights on. They only time I've seen the back is when there's a light behind it, but it still isn't bad. I'm not a professional, so there are some air pockets in it, but I'm not complaining.
