Tiny bubbles in tank

Hi all! I need some advice on this..

I am running on a overhead trickle filter for my 422. 3 layers.

The outlet from the overhead filter is producing a lot of tiny bubbles into my tank. I've tried fixing an additional elbow to the outlet and even fully submerged the elbow into water but still the bubbles are there.

Can someone advice pls?

not sure if the filter is causing it or the pump, usually when i get microbubbles its due to a bad impeller. might want to check and clean the pump.

Ok.. I'll try to clean the pump and see if there's any difference.. Thanks!
