I have 5 small cons, from 3/4"-1 1/4". 2 of which have recently developed bright orange bellies, is it possible for cons to breed this young?

im not 100% sure but i read somewhere that they are usually sexually mature at around 1 inch

I've had a female Pink Con breed at 3/4 of an inch. She was a great mother also..dgarrett

if they have the orange eggs spots, then yes they can already breed
most of them will start at just under 1''

i have raised convict fry before and they have accidently breed with each other by 5 months of age, all were under 1''

It is a convict and that is all you need to know.

would inbreeding be a problem i've got two new pairs but they're from the same brood

i believe my pair might be from the same batch, ive never had any problems, and all batches are 100% healthy, and some babies ive kept completely to adults. With much success.
