just got back after 4days at woodward reservoir, if you're thinking of going DON'T! it is hot, the fishing sucks and there is no shade. middle of the night swarms of mayflies showed up so i put some on a size 12 long shank wire hook and caught (5) 3" long large mouth bass, i couldn't believe that they where actually able to swallow the bait. i'll try to post pics later, they would have been perfect for my 72"x24"x8" 60g tank i'm starting out back.

trust me, it was really tempting but i can't imagine keeping a full grown bass(let alone 5!) in my tank(really a 1/3 full 180g) but the biggest problem was that i'm planning to transfer my 29g FW tank into the bigger one and i have mostly danios that i didn't want eaten, same reason why i'm having so much trouble finding a catfish for the tank, i really want an IR or a columbia shark cat but i don't have a big enough tank for them long term
i almost did use them as bait but i wasn't seeing anybody catching any catfish so i didn't bother. now that the pics are loaded onto the computer i'll try to see if i can post them.
